10 x 10 or 10 x15? That's an EZ and not much else.

Are the organizers familiar with a typical event?

As a potential contestant that makes me wary.

It's a small venue this year... They want to grow in 2014...

Limit of 20 teams this year...

I don't know why there is a 10'x10', but one of the local teams planted that size in their heads... This will probably change as all teams order the 15'x20' site or larger...

Website choices are: 10'x10' the 15'x20' and Other

The site map I have seen doesn't show a 10'x10' site...

I chose other and a 20 x 20 as that is as small as I go, and that is rather small for a comp team to fit into.

I spoke with a lady there today and explained our concerns. She wasn't aware of how it worked and said she would pass it along , but did mention that there's not a lot of room there to begin with.

The small size of the spots may have been my fault.  Garden City has very limited space and I offered to cook in a 10x10 spot and thought that maybe some of the other locals who don't need to spend the night could fit in small spots as well.  I know 3 of us have offered to keep it small so they could fit in more teams.  That being said, they are very good people and will help give as much space as possible to those who need it.

I think this will be a fun event and will only get better with time.  I hope everyone will come down and support this new comp.  Those who can cook in small spaces (Sweet Peppers, Parrothead, etc) will only help teams who need more space to fit in.

Hope to see you there!
